.Jeff Sturgis president and founder of Madcap Media Inc. has been a story teller from a very young age. Making  his very first "Flip" book at the age of seven. So began his life long love of animation. At the age of ten... he purchased his first "Super 8" film camera and his summers were filled with many movie making adventures. A graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute... he spent several years learning the "Real World" trade of Commercial Video Production and Animation and Effects. In 1990 he founded Madcap Productions. (Later to be incorporated as Madcap Media)

Spur, Texas our new home. We love the Wide Open skies of West Texas. Speaking of... "Wide Open" skies... we purchased a building in downtown that needed a full renovation, including a roof. After months of hard work and grit... "True Grit" we are excited Open our new office.

Being part of the community was important to us from day one. Madcap Media Inc. was proud to sponsor the first ever... "Video Game Tournament" held at the historical Palace Theater right here in Spur, Texas.
